Quiet Hours: Nighttime and Grief

Open call from Der Greif inviting lens-based artists to examine nighttime's emotional landscape — how darkness changes the way we see the world and how we feel. Timed around National Grief Awareness Day, the call centres on grief in its many manifestations: bereavement, relationship loss, displacement, or life transitions, and asks how darkness and light can convey narratives of memory and healing. Selected work is featured in an online exhibition on Der Greif's Pulse platform, with facilitated peer critique sessions and exposure within Der Greif's international network, plus potential invitations to submit portfolios for sales and commission opportunities. Entry is free with an optional €5–€10 donation, and 50–100% discount vouchers are available for artists facing financial barriers.
