Weather Photographer of the Year 2026

The Royal Meteorological Society's long-running global competition celebrating photography that captures the power, beauty and impact of weather, now in its second decade. Open to photographers of all levels worldwide, it recognises both dramatic weather events and the growing influence of climate change. Categories: Weather Photographer of the Year (£1,500), Mobile Weather Photographer of the Year for images shot on a smartphone or tablet (£500), the Climate Award for work telling a compelling story about our changing climate (£500), and a Public Favourite decided by global online vote.
