Monochrome

Aurea Photogallery's black-and-white open call, asking photographers to leave colour behind and work with light, shadow, shape and texture alone. Portraits, landscapes, quiet street work and abstract shadows are all welcome, with an emphasis on strong contrast and raw emotion. Selected work runs in a one-month online exhibition (18 August – 14 September 2026) with a PDF and print-on-demand catalogue, a dedicated artist page and permanent inclusion in the gallery's archive. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis.
