Guest Room: Whitney Hubbs & Jermaine Francis

The latest edition of Der Greif's monthly curator-led open call, guest-curated by artists Whitney Hubbs and Jermaine Francis. The brief asks for work exploring the materiality of photography and its spatial possibilities — an invitation to treat the photograph as an object and a situation rather than a window. Up to five images per project may be submitted, along with video up to ten minutes. Selected work is featured in Der Greif's online showcase, and selected artists also receive an online portfolio review with the curators. Submission is through Picter and the fee is genuinely voluntary — enter for free or donate €5 or €10.
