PhotoVogue Global Open Call 2026 — Brave New Visions
PhotoVogue is the global photography platform run by Vogue Italia under editorial direction Alessia Glaviano. The Global Open Call is the platform's annual flagship, and the 2026 cycle is themed Brave New Visions: Creativity as Rebellion. PhotoVogue frames the brief as a stance rather than a subject — it is asking for work where the way the artist sees is itself an act of resistance against visual indifference, not adherence to a specified theme.
Three grants split $12,000: the Outstanding Vision Grant of $6,000 for an artist expanding the boundaries of visual language; the Vision Grant of $4,000 for an artist with a strong and singular perspective; and the Rising Voice Grant of $2,000 for an emerging artist showing clarity, originality, and promise. Selected artists are presented at the next PhotoVogue Festival in Milan, with the possibility of publication across Vogue's global editions and an invitation to PhotoVogue's Virtual Portfolio Reviews.
The call welcomes photography, video, and multimedia projects across all genres — fashion, documentary, portraiture, fine art, and experimental practice. Submissions may include up to 15 images, an optional 60-second video trailer, or a combination for multimedia projects. Artists must be 18 or older; AI-generated work is not eligible.
Submissions are free and hosted on Picter, open May 14 through September 11, 2026 at 11:59 PM CET. Contact for the call is Daniel Rodríguez-Gordillo at Condé Nast (daniel.rodriguez-gordillo@condenast.es).
