Liberty Art Award 2026
Two-year professional development, exhibition and sales programme for recent UK art graduates, run by fine art insurer Liberty Specialty Markets with Parker Harris. Launched in 2018 and previously limited to four institutions, the award opens to graduates nationwide for the first time this year. Each selected artist receives a £1,000 participation fee, a contribution to travel expenses, collection and return of work, insurance in transit and on display, and the chance to exhibit and sell work at Liberty's office in the Walkie Talkie building in Fenchurch Street, London, from September 2026 to August 2028. The development programme includes at least four one-to-one mentoring sessions with Penny Harris of Parker Harris, group visits to Frieze, London Art Fair, Collect and London Print Fair, seminars from gallerists, funders, curators, critics and legal advisors, and task-based work on proposal writing and funding applications. The programme closes with an awards ceremony in spring 2028. Any medium is eligible, including photography, moving image, print, sculpture, paint and textile; work must be available for the full two years and shown in a corporate setting. Open to students who graduated in 2025 and 2026 from across the UK.
