Schloss Plüschow Artist-in-Residence 2026
Mecklenburg Artists' House (Mecklenburgisches Künstlerhaus) operates from Schloss Plüschow, a Baroque manor house in the northern German village of Plüschow, near the Baltic coast. The annual artist-in-residence program selects five international visual artists for working scholarships at the Schloss.
The 2026 residency runs three months, October through December, with a €1,000 monthly stipend (€3,000 total). On-site stay is required for the full duration — this is a live-in residency, not a flexible-attendance program.
Eligibility is open to international visual artists across disciplines, photography included. Application requires four PDFs covering the artist's work, project, biography, and concept for the residency period.
Submission is through the Mecklenburgisches Künstlerhaus website. Application fee is €10. The 2026 deadline was May 3; results announced June 2026.
