Künstler*dorf Schöppingen Fellowship 2027

Residency fellowships at the Künstler*dorf (artists' village) in Schöppingen, Münsterland, Germany. Applications for the 2027 fellowships are open June 27 – August 31, 2026. Fellows live and work on site for two to six months, arranged by agreement and availability. Individual fellows receive €1,500 per month (minus roughly €100–200 for rent and operating costs); collectives — accepted since 2023 — receive €1,000 per person up to €3,000 total. Open worldwide to professional visual artists, authors, and composers with no restrictions on nationality or age. Juries assess the quality of previous work, the feasibility of the proposed project in Schöppingen, and contributions to the residency community. Not a production fellowship: there are no presentation obligations, though fellows may use the exhibition spaces.
