Queer|Art|Mentorship 2027
Year-long mentorship pairing early-career LGBTQIA+ artists one-on-one with an established queer mentor in their field, across Film, Literature, Performance, and Visual Art (photography falls under Visual Art). The 10-month program (January–October 2027) includes a $2,500 stipend, travel funding for a spring retreat, one-on-one coaching from staff, professional networking outreach, and access to the Queer|Art alumni network. Open to self-identified queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, non-binary, and/or intersex artists based in the United States who are early-career with an existing body of work, not currently enrolled in school, and have a specific project to develop. Two-stage application: Part One via Google Form due June 15, 2026; invited applicants complete a detailed SlideRoom submission by July 31. Fellows selected by mentors in September; acceptances announced mid-October 2026.
