Pioneer Works Visual Arts Residency 2027

Open call for the 2027 cohort of Pioneer Works' Visual Arts Residency, at the major nonprofit cultural center in Red Hook, Brooklyn. Each year 12 visual-arts residents receive a one-time $5,000 award and five months of studio access, plus free use of facilities — including a darkroom, risograph, ceramics studio, large-format and 3D printers, and laser cutter — biweekly studio visits with curators and critics, and access to public programs. Photographers and lens-based artists are eligible. Applications June 15 – July 13, 2026.
