Hambidge Center Residency — Spring 2027
Self-directed residencies of 2–8 weeks at the Hambidge Center's 600 forested acres in Rabun Gap, in the mountains of north Georgia, for the Spring session running mid-February through May 2027. Open to visual artists including photographers, plus writers, musicians, dancers, scientists, culinary artists, and arts administrators. Residents pay $300/week (the actual cost of $2,250/week is subsidized by the center); merit-based Distinguished Fellowships cover two weeks plus a $700 stipend, and limited financial-aid scholarships are available. Application fee $30, with waivers on request. Note: no cell service on campus and studios are offline — WiFi in communal spaces only. Applications open August 1 and close September 15, 2026.
