Dodho Magazine #37

Dodho Magazine is a Barcelona-based international photography publication that has run since 2013. Across 36 prior print editions, the magazine has featured 216 photographers from 32 countries — making it one of the more geographically broad indie photo magazines, with over 20 million digital views accumulated alongside the print circulation.

Edition #37 is structured as an artistic and curatorial volume rather than a conventional magazine — each selected photographer receives 20 full pages with visual rhythm, curatorial text, and substantial breathing room for the images.

Two submission modes: Magazine Mode for a full portfolio feature (€45 / €75 / €90 depending on number of portfolios entered), and Cover Mode for the front cover (€45 for 3 images, €75 for 6, €90 for 10). Selection looks for work with a clear voice, defined intention, and strong execution — there is no fixed theme.

Selected work is published in the print edition, which is distributed to galleries, festivals, museums, and curatorial institutions worldwide. All participants — selected or not — receive access to the digital edition. Artists retain copyright; Dodho receives display rights only.

The 2026 jury comprises Holly Hart (Director, Dusk Gallery), Marcel Kollen (Director, Rotterdam Photo Festival), Frank Meo (founder, The Photocloser), and Paris Chong (Director and Curator, Leica Gallery Los Angeles). Submissions accept JPGs at 72 dpi, minimum 1200 px on the longest side. The deadline is May 31, 2026; results communicated approximately one week after.
