Bothy Project Residency — Sweeney's Bothy, Isle of Eigg

Week-long residency at Sweeney's Bothy, a simple off-grid building on the Isle of Eigg in the Scottish Inner Hebrides, October 10–17, 2026, offered by Visual Arts Scotland with Bothy Project. Includes accommodation, a £720 artist fee and travel costs up to £250. Applicants must be VAS members at the time of application and residency. Apply by emailing written responses on practice, motivation, impact, documentation and sustainable travel plans (max 300 words each), completing the linked Google Form, and submitting a single PDF with 6 images of recent work. Cars are not permitted on the island; environmental sustainability is a selection consideration.
