Women's Work: Women Artists Making Their Mark 2026
The 18th year of O'Hanlon Center for the Arts' annual online show devoted to women artists, part of the Mill Valley non-profit's commitment to gender equity in the art world. Open worldwide to artists who identify as female, aged 16 and over, in any medium except video — the work does not need to reference women or women's issues, though it may. Two jurors, gallerist Donna Seager and artist Irene Bee Kain, each independently select the same maximum number of works and every selection by either juror is included, so the exhibition reflects two distinct curatorial eyes rather than a consensus. Selected work is presented in a curated online show running 17 August – 31 October 2026, promoted through social media, print media and email outreach, with a printable catalogue and permanent archive access after the show closes. A Zoom roundtable with both jurors takes place on 18 August. Work previously shown at O'Hanlon, in the gallery or online, is not eligible.
