Eyes & Hands: Celebrating Frederick's Deaf heART

Juried exhibition for Deaf, Hard of Hearing and CODA (Children of Deaf Adults) artists at Artspiration Frederick, a nonprofit community art centre in Frederick, Maryland, marking Deaf Awareness Month. Artists are invited to submit original work in any visual medium including photography, painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, fiber art, ceramics, mixed media and digital art, with the show seeking a deliberately wide range of voices, perspectives, techniques and subject matter. On view in the Artspiration Frederick Gallery 5–27 September 2026. Open to visual artists 16 and older who are Deaf, Hard of Hearing and/or CODA and reside in the continental US; 1–3 images at 300 dpi for jury review. Two-dimensional work must be framed and wired for hanging — no sawtooth hangers.
