THE PORTRAIT

Praxis Photo Arts Center is a Minneapolis nonprofit gallery for fine art photography. THE PORTRAIT is one of its themed juried exhibitions — built around the depth and complexity of the human subject.

Selection is by Elizabeth Flinsch, Editor of SHOTS Magazine — the long-running US fine art photography quarterly. Single-juror selection.

All lens-based practices are welcome. Selected work is shown in a physical group exhibition at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis.

Eligibility is open globally to photographers 18+. Submission is through the gallery's website with up to 10 images. Fee is $35. The 2026 deadline was April 5; results announced April 16, 2026.
