South Florida Cultural Consortium Fellowship 2026

The arts councils of Broward, Martin, Miami-Dade, Monroe and Palm Beach counties jointly award grants of $7,500 or $15,000 to visual and media artists who have lived and worked in the five-county South Florida region for at least a year — among the largest regional artist awards in the US. Established in 1988, the consortium has granted over $4 million to more than 300 artists, with recipients' work presented in exhibitions. Photography and media work are eligible (samples from the past three years); degree-seeking students are not. Attendance at one of the remaining online workshops (August 4 or August 22) is required to apply. Funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts and the State of Florida.
