CitiesToBe Photo Award 2026

Third edition of the urban photography award organised by Barcelona innovation studio Anteverti — and the first to be thematic and to reward photographic series rather than single images. The 2026 theme is 'Third Places': the informal, shared spaces beyond home and work where city life unfolds. Open worldwide to anyone 18 or over, individuals or collectives, working in lens-based photography only; each participant submits one project of 10 to 20 images shot after 1 January 2024. The winner receives an acquisitive prize of €1,500 and five finalists €500 each, with selected work shown through CitiesToBe's channels and edition book. Jury: Roger Grasas, Arianna Rinaldo, Cristina Garrido, Pilar Conesa and Sergio García i Rodríguez. AI-generated or synthetic images are not eligible. Call opens 22 June, closes 30 September 2026, winners announced November 2026.
