Phases Magazine — Open Submissions

Phases is an online photography magazine specializing in international contemporary work, founded in December 2012 by Jerome Montagne (France) and Alexis Vasilikos (Greece). The magazine has published 1,290 portfolios across irregular issues, with three portfolios featured per issue.

Submissions are open continuously, with no formal guidelines or themed brief. Artists send a link to their website, online work, or a few low-resolution attached images to submissions@phasesmag.com. The team receives high submission volume daily and cannot provide individualized responses or feedback — resubmission is encouraged if artists do not hear back.

There is no submission fee. Selected portfolios are published online; the magazine does not specify additional compensation or rights claims beyond publication. The editors' Greek and French base shows in recent contributor lists, with names like Mike Almiroudis, Yorgos Yatromanolakis, Yiannis Trifonopoulos, Gelly Siganou, and Georges Salameh appearing across recent and past selections.
