FeelsZine Issue 27 — Belonging

FeelsZine is a Canadian independent zine that publishes biannually, alternating issues between thematic prompts. Issue 27, themed "Belonging," coincides with the magazine's 10th anniversary. Submissions are open across both writing and visual art, with a primarily Canadian editorial focus that also welcomes global contributors.

Accepted writing forms include poetry, personal essays, fiction, and interview proposals up to 1,200 words. Poetry and prose are limited to two pieces per submission unless part of a larger collection. Visual art submissions — photography, illustration, collage, typography — must be accompanied by a short artist statement, with 300dpi files requested if accepted.

Submissions are sent by email (submittofeels@gmail.com) as Word documents or Google Docs (no PDFs), with each entry including a short bio, work description, and country of origin. Previously published work is accepted as long as it is not simultaneously appearing in another Canadian independent magazine during FeelsZine's six-month publication window. The submission deadline is August 30, 2026; Issue 27 publishes in January 2027.
