Peyton Evans Artist Residency (PEAR) 2026–2027

The Peyton Evans Artist Residency (PEAR) is administered by The Studios of Key West (TSKW), a Florida arts non-profit based at 533 Eaton Street in Key West. The program supports residencies across Visual Arts, Literary Arts, Media Arts, Musical Arts, and Performing Arts — photographers apply under the Media Arts track.

Residencies run the 2nd day of the month through the last day, with placements available between October 2026 and August 2027. Each resident receives accommodation at the PEAR House — a live/work space — plus a bike for getting around the island and access to shared kitchen facilities.

There is no residency fee once accepted. Artists cover their own travel, living expenses, and materials.

TSKW was founded in 2006 and has hosted nearly 500 multidisciplinary artists across its history. Selection committees are composed of working artists and professionals across the five disciplinary tracks. Eligibility is open to emerging and established artists and writers worldwide.

Applications go through SlideRoom. The 2026 deadline is May 15.
