Making Strange

Juried photography exhibition at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis on the theme of rendering the everyday unfamiliar. Looking for photographs that transform the ordinary through framing, timing, light, distance, or construction — work where the iconic, the ironic, and the overlooked are constructed through deliberate acts of seeing. Thirty images are selected for the in-person exhibition at Praxis Gallery, July 18 – August 8, 2026, with a Juror's Choice award, two Honorable Mentions, and a Directors Choice award (for the most cohesive series). Open internationally to all photographers.
