La Napoule Art Foundation — Fall Residency 2026

La Napoule Art Foundation operates a one-month international artist residency at a historic château on the French Riviera, overlooking the Mediterranean. The 2026 Fall residency runs October 6 – November 3.

Eligibility is open to emerging and established artists across all disciplines including photography, aged 18+, with no nationality restriction. Participants must communicate effectively in English or French.

Residents receive accommodations in the château, a private studio workspace, daily breakfast, and most evening meals. Application is free.

Selection criteria are formally listed: artistic vision, professional commitment, work quality, project significance, and collaborative willingness. Artists may apply once per calendar year; previous recipients may reapply but are given lower priority.

Practical note: the historic château is not handicapped accessible — applicants should consider accessibility requirements before applying. Submission is through SlideRoom with a portfolio. The 2026 deadline was April 20.
