FotoSlovo Award 2026
FotoSlovo is a Bucharest-based photography platform founded by Laza Anna. The annual FotoSlovo Award is the platform's international competition, open across all photography genres. The 2026 prize package is unusually layered.
Top prize is €2,000 cash plus an iPhone, participation in the Limassol Biennale, exhibitions in Bucharest and Frejus, magazine feature, festival projections, and free book production. Each component reaches a different audience — the prize is a network of opportunities rather than a single payout.
The 2026 jury is built from international photography institutions and past winners: Whitney Cole (Director, Candela Gallery), Ali Besikci (photographer and founder of ZONE), Madara Ulme (Artistic Director, SNAP Collective), Souhayl A (FotoSlovo Awards 2024 winner), Arnis Balcus (Editor-in-Chief, FK Magazine), and Laza Anna (FotoSlovo Founder). AI-generated work is accommodated through a dedicated category.
Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through the FotoSlovo website with 1–15 images. Fee is tiered €9–€42 by submission scale. The 2026 deadline was March 31; results announced May 2026.
