HCP Annual Fellowship Awards 2026

Houston Center for Photography's annual fellowship awards two photographers from anywhere in the world $3,000 each plus a solo exhibition at HCP, opening November 2026. A single juror selects two distinct awards: the Carol Crow Fellowship, for photographers advocating for the environment and celebrating natural landscapes, and the HCP Fellowship, which carries no assigned theme and recognizes work offering insight into current themes, technologies, and practices in photography. Open to all photographic, film, video, and lens-based installation work. The 2026 juror is Natasha Egan, Executive Director of the Museum of Contemporary Photography at Columbia College Chicago. There is no entry fee, but applicants must hold an HCP Fellowship membership ($35). HCP covers ground shipping for selected artists.
