Festival di Fotografia a Capri 2026 — Viaggi e Miraggi

The Festival di Fotografia a Capri is an annual photography festival organised by Fondazione Capri, held at the Chiostro della Certosa di San Giacomo — a 14th-century charterhouse on the island of Capri. The 18th edition runs 30 August – 11 October 2026, opening 29 August, and is themed 'Viaggi e Miraggi' (Travels and Mirages), inspired by the 200th anniversary of the rediscovery of the Blue Grotto.

The open call invites photographers worldwide — amateurs and professionals alike — to submit a project responding to the theme of real and imagined journeys. There is no entry fee.

Submissions are made by email to festival@fondazionecapri.org as a single PDF inside a .zip folder no larger than 10MB, containing the project images, a brief descriptive text, and the author's biography. The open call opened 30 March 2026 and closes 5 July 2026 at 23:59.

A jury formed by the Directorate of Museums and Archaeological Parks of Capri together with Fondazione Capri selects one winning project, announced 13 July 2026, which is exhibited at the Certosa di San Giacomo as part of the festival programme alongside the invited photographers.
