Grenze OFF Circuit 2026 — Nachleben

Open call for the OFF Circuit of Grenze – Arsenali Fotografici's Nachleben photography festival in Verona, Italy. Free to enter and open to professional, emerging, and self-taught photographers 18 and over, individually or as collectives. Submit a photographic project of up to 10 images on the theme Nachleben — the survival and afterlife of images, after Aby Warburg. Selected projects are shown in an open-air exhibition at Corte Dogana Fiume and the Garden of the Bastione delle Maddalene during the festival, September 18–30, 2026, with the official OFF opening on September 18. Finalists are contacted by July 15; selected artists cover their own printing and shipping costs following the curator's instructions. Projects exploring water, borders, archives, identity, and natural landscape are favoured for the Antica Dogana di Fiume venue.
