Create! Magazine Issue #58 — In Full Color

Create! Magazine is an artist-led print and digital publication founded in 2013 (originally as Fresh Paint Magazine). The magazine reaches over 200,000 readers globally and partners with major art fairs including Art Miami and Moniker Art Fair.

Issue #58 is themed "In Full Color," inviting artists to interpret color as a concept — hue, saturation, cultural expression, or emotional weight. The brief is open about medium: photography is welcomed alongside painting, sculpture, installation, and other 2D and 3D forms.

Selected artists receive a four-page professional spread in both the print and digital editions of the fall 2026 issue, plus website and social media promotion to the magazine's curator, collector, and gallerist audience. A complimentary digital issue is provided, with print purchase available.

The 2026 cycle is juried by Liz Lidgett, an art advisor, writer, and gallery owner based in Des Moines, Iowa, who runs Liz Lidgett Gallery and Design.

Submission fee is $35 for three images, with up to 10 works accepted per submission (cohesive bodies or series encouraged). Each submission requires a 300-word artist bio and a 300-word artist statement, with images at 300 DPI in JPG or PNG format. Eligibility is open globally with no formal education or gallery representation required. AI-generated work is not accepted. The 2026 deadline is May 30 at 11:59 PM EST; jurying takes place in June; notification in summer; publication in fall 2026.
