BINNAR Festival 2026
BINNAR is a multidisciplinary artistic festival and year-round platform based in Vila Nova de Famalicão, northern Portugal, founded in 2016 and run with municipal support under artistic director Filipe Miranda. The festival programs music, performance, photography, theatre, video, sculpture, and installation, with free admission to all events.
The 2026 open call is for a collective exhibition of photography and video taking place in November 2026. The brief is open theme — any subject or approach is accepted. Videos must not exceed two minutes; the photography component is shown as printed and framed work.
What distinguishes the call: there is no entry fee, and BINNAR covers the full production cost of selected works. Selected photographs are printed and framed by the festival; artists are not asked to provide prints or pay for production.
Submission is by email to info.binnar@gmail.com with subject line 'open call', including the artist's name, nationality, age (gender optional), a direct link to view the photos or video, an artist statement, and a biography. Selected artists are contacted directly by the organizers. The deadline is June 30, 2026.
