TOKAS-Emerging 2027

Annual emerging-artist program at Tokyo Arts and Space, the contemporary art arm of the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. Four artists aged 35 or younger and based in Japan are each selected for a solo exhibition on their own floor of TOKAS Hongo in April–May 2027, with ¥150,000 in production support plus installation assistance, transport subsidies, PR support, and an exhibition catalog. Eligible fields include painting, printmaking, photography, three-dimensional work, video, and installation; group applications are accepted if all members qualify. The application package is available in Japanese only; second-round interviews take place September 18, 2026.
