World Nature Photography Awards 2027

The seventh edition of the World Nature Photography Awards (WNPA), an international nature and wildlife photography competition. Fourteen categories spanning Animals in their habitat, Animal portraits, behaviour categories (Bird, Mammal, Amphibian/Reptile, Invertebrate), Plants and fungi, Urban wildlife, Landscapes, Underwater, Black and white, Nature art, Photojournalism and People and nature. Gold, silver and bronze winners in every category; the top-scoring gold image wins the World Nature Photographer of the Year title plus $1,000. Open to amateur and professional photographers worldwide aged 18+; images of captive or restrained animals are not permitted. Standard entry is £30 for up to six images, with no limit on the number of entries. Submissions accepted online only as JPEGs (1,000–3,000px, under 3MB). Deadline midnight GMT, 30 June 2026.
