Life Framer — Black & White
Life Framer is a monthly photography competition platform with a rotating thematic schedule. The Black & White edition is the platform's monochrome cycle.
The 2026 Black & White juror is Léa Thouin, photography historian at Fondation Henri Cartier-Bresson — bringing a curatorial perspective rooted in classic and contemporary B&W photography history.
Selected winners are featured on Life Framer's site and are eligible for inclusion in the platform's annual physical exhibitions, which travel between partner galleries in New York, Tokyo, Milan, and Arles. Top prize is $2,000; total annual cash prizing across all monthly cycles is $24,000.
AI-generated work is not accepted. Eligibility is open globally. Submission is through the Life Framer website with up to 10 images. Fee is tiered $20–$100 by submission scale. The 2026 Black & White deadline was March 31; results announced mid-April 2026.
