Wassaic Project 2027 Summer Exhibition
Open call for the Wassaic Project's 2027 Summer Exhibition, a juried group show at the historic Maxon Mills in the Hudson Valley hamlet of Wassaic, two hours north of NYC (on view May 1 – September 12, 2027). Open to emerging and established artists worldwide in any medium, photography included. Work is selected by the Wassaic Project Co-Directors — Eve Biddle, Bowie Zunino, and Jeff Barnett-Winsby — with Director of Artistic Programming Will Hutnick, based on the quality of the work and how each piece fits alongside the others. All accepted artists receive a modest honorarium to participate (artists in the 2026 Summer Exhibition received at least $400). Artists proposing site-specific installations are also eligible for a no-fee Exhibitions Fellowship, a 1–4 week spring residency. Submit via SlideRoom; $25 application fee, waivable on request (free for past Wassaic residents).
