SVĚTOVA 1 Artist Residency 2026

SVĚTOVA 1 is an artist-run gallery and residency space in Prague. The annual residency program selects one emerging visual artist for a one-month creative residency. The 2026 residency runs November 1 – December 6.

The package includes a private bedroom, shared 30m² studio inside the gallery, a production budget of approximately €820, round-trip travel reimbursement, curatorial support, and opportunities for a public workshop, artist lecture, and exhibition during the residency.

Eligibility is restricted by geography: residents of 39 European countries plus Tunisia. Applicants must not be enrolled in educational programs during the residency.

Submission is by Google Form with a single PDF. Application is free. The 2026 deadline was March 23; results announced April 7, 2026.
