Sea to Shining Sea

A national juried exhibition of the American landscape in all media at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art in Saint Joseph, Missouri, on view from 21 November 2026 to 21 February 2027. Artists may submit up to three works, each juried and scored individually, with a maximum size of 60 by 60 inches and 50 pounds. The juror is Lisa Grossman, a painter and printmaker based in Lawrence, Kansas since 1996 whose work follows the prairies and river valleys of eastern Kansas; she has had more than thirty solo shows across the Midwest and on both coasts and is represented by Haw Contemporary in Kansas City and SNW Gallery in Manhattan, Kansas. Awards are chosen after the exhibition is hung: $500 Best of Show, $250 second, $150 third and a $100 People's Choice. Open to artists 18 and over; AI-generated work is not considered. Work may be shipped (arriving by 10 November with a prepaid return label) or hand-delivered on 16 November. Work need not be for sale, but the museum retains 30% on any sales.
