Roma E'Festival — Street Photography Awards 2026

Roma E'Festival is an international street photography competition organized by Effe4.0 Street Photography, in its third edition for 2026. The festival proper runs October 16–18 in Rome, with finalists exhibited at Officine Fotografiche.

Submissions are split across five categories: Single Image (color/open), Black & White, Smartphone, Photographic Project (5 to 15 images), and AI-Generated images, which are judged separately under their own selection process — generative AI is explicitly excluded from the four conventional street categories. Multi-category passes provide a 50% discount: the EFFE4 PRO pass (€50) covers Street, B&W, and Smartphone; the EFFE4 FULL pass (€70) covers all categories.

Finalists receive a physical print and exhibition for the duration of the festival, inclusion in the official catalogue, a touring exhibition appearing alongside the main festival, and visibility through the festival's website and social channels. Top three finalists per category receive prizes from partners Fotodiego, Fowa, and Ricoh GR — equipment, monographs, solo exhibitions, and editorial reviews depending on category.

The jury comprises ten international photographers and editors: Rui Palha, Pau Buscató, Barbara Di Maio, Liliana Ranalletta, Mario Mencacci, Arez Prod, Claudio Palmisano, Dario Coletti, Sonia Simbolo, and Gianluca De Dominici. Eligibility is open globally; previously published or award-winning work is permitted, except images that won first prize at major international festivals. The deadline is July 31, 2026.
