reFocus Awards - Color Photography Contest
reFocus Awards is a contest platform with a recurring schedule of category-themed competitions. The Color Photography Contest is the platform's color-focused cycle.
The 2026 jury is built primarily from photo editors and creative directors at major publications: Gabriel H. Sanchez (Photo Editor, The New York Times), Irene Opezzo (Photo Director, Robb Report), Rasha Kahil (Creative Director, HTSI Financial Times), Carol Olona, Karin Mueller (Condé Nast Traveller UK), and Daniel Melamud (Editor, Rizzoli).
Total prize value is $2,500. Selected work is shown in a digital gallery on the reFocus platform. AI-generated work is not accepted.
Eligibility is open globally to photographers 18+. Submission is through the reFocus website with 1–5 images per entry. Fee is tiered $25–$50 by submission scale. The 2026 deadline was April 29; results announced July 15, 2026.
