Real And Wild — RAW Photography Awards 2026

Inaugural edition of RAW, a nature photography award built around a single rule: every image must be made within 100 km of the photographer's home — 'the wild is not far away.' Five categories: RAW Neighbors (no human elements), Coexistence (human presence), Connection (people and nature), Macro (the small world) and Perspective (the big scene). The Real And Wild Photographer of the Year receives $1,000, with $250 for each category winner; winning and shortlisted images are published in the online RAW Winners Gallery and a photo book, and promoted through a partnership with Atlantic Geographic. Blind judging by professionals. Open worldwide, with a free RAW Junior tier for under-18s. Fees: $10 for one image, $25 for five, $40 for ten. AI-generated or AI-composited images are not permitted.
