Prix Virginia 2026
Prix Virginia is a French international photography prize awarded to professional women photographers. It is organized by Association Sylvia S., based in Paris, with a single €10,000 grant going to the winner.
The 2026 jury is built from major European photography institutions: Damarice Amao (Centre Pompidou), Anna Planas (Artistic Director, Paris Photo), Fiona Rogers (Curator, V&A), and Pauline Vermare (Curator, Brooklyn Museum).
Eligibility is restricted to professional women photographers internationally. Submitted photographs must not have been previously exhibited in France.
The application requires 12–18 cohesive photographs from a single body of work, plus CV and artistic statement. Submission is through Award Force. Application is free.
The 2026 deadline was May 7; the winner was announced in November 2026.
