PPA Photo Award 2026
Pasadena Photography Arts (PPA) is a nonprofit photography organization based in Pasadena, California. The PPA Photo Award is its annual prize for emerging US photographers — career-stage rather than location restricted to Pasadena.
The 2026 juror is Craig Krull, founder of the Craig Krull Gallery in Santa Monica — an established LA-area gallery with a long photography program. Single-juror selection rather than panel.
The winner receives $2,000 cash plus an interview, a Lenscratch feature (Lenscratch is the long-running US fine-art photography platform), and a virtual artist talk with PPA. AI editing is acceptable; fully AI-generated work is not.
Eligibility is restricted to emerging US-based photographers 18+. Submission is through CaFÉ with 10–20 images. Fee is $42. The 2026 deadline was April 26; results announced August 21, 2026.
