Kometa Fellows Program 2026

Fellowship from Kometa, the French magazine of on-the-ground reporting from zones of war, censorship, and political tension. Up to six fellows each receive €10,000 to complete a field-based project within one year, with monthly editorial support and an exclusivity agreement with the magazine. Open internationally to documentary photographers, photojournalists, journalists, and writers; this first 2026 call focuses on disinformation and narrative wars, and political and social change in the Gulf. Projects already under contract with a publisher are not eligible. A second call follows in winter 2026.
