Picture This — 2026 Photography Show

The San Marcos Art League gives over its Art Center gallery for the month of August to a show dedicated entirely to the photographic medium, from traditional film work to contemporary digital compositions. Entry is open to all and each entrant may submit one artwork; accepted work must be hand-delivered ready to hang at the San Marcos Art Center on Sunday 2 August between 1pm and 4pm, since shipped work is not accepted. Work must be original, signed and completed in the previous 24 months, and must not have been shown at the Art Center Gallery before. Two-dimensional pieces are capped at 36 inches wide by 68 inches high including framing, and everything must be for sale, with the Art League retaining a 20% commission. The exhibition runs 5–28 August 2026 with a public opening reception on Friday 7 August from 6 to 8pm.
