Nude Geographies

Juried exhibition at Praxis Gallery in Minneapolis on the nude in all its forms — figure studies, environmental and implied nudes, and work examining identity, representation, the body as form, or the relationship between figure and surroundings through aesthetic, conceptual, emotional or experimental approaches. Intimate or confrontational, formal or raw, poetic or political. Up to 38 photographs are selected for the physical gallery show (September 19 – October 10, 2026). Awards are a Directors' Choice (free entry into two future calls) and five honorable mentions featured in the exhibition, printed catalog and online gallery. Images shown at Praxis within the past year are ineligible. Praxis members get 10 images for the price of 5, and artists experiencing financial hardship may request a free submission. Selected artists either ship an unframed original print or use the gallery's printing service; Praxis provides all matting and framing.
