Northern Europe Landscapes Open Call

Northern Europe Landscapes is a Soft Publishing themed photo book open call, narrower than the European Landscapes call. The brief is restricted by region and exclusion: northern European natural and rural landscapes only, with no buildings included.

The exclusion of architecture pushes selection toward pure landscape — wilderness, agricultural land, coastline, forest, mountain. The northern European focus emphasizes Nordic, Baltic, British, and northern continental European geographies.

No collage, no manipulated images, and no AI-generated photos accepted.

Selected work is published in the printed photo book. Eligibility is open globally to photographers with northern European landscape work. Submission is by email with up to 15 images. Application is free. The 2026 deadline was March 31.
