Nancy Ingersoll Foster Artist Residency 2026
An endowment-funded two-week retreat (September 5–19, 2026) presented by the Elizabeth Lane Oliver Center for the Arts, the nonprofit community art center on the Lake Michigan shore in Frankfort, Benzie County. Named for painter Nancy Ingersoll Foster, a longtime teacher and exhibitor at the center, the residency is housed at the Parsons Center for Arts and Sciences in Lake Ann — Eastern Michigan University's 86-acre arts-and-nature campus — with exhibits and workshops at the Oliver Art Center near the Sleeping Bear Dunes coastline. Open to an artist working in any visual media; applications are a short online form, due July 27.
