LSI 2026 Photography Grant
Tenth edition of the Leica Society International's annual project-based grant, supported by the LSI Philanthropy Fund and Leica North America. The 2026 theme is 'To Be Seen': photographers worldwide are invited to submit an in-progress personal project in still images that creates space for people, places, communities, histories, or issues to be witnessed with care, dignity, and intention. Applications include a project description, a portfolio of 10 JPEG images from the project, a bio, and a CV. Judging runs in two phases — each juror ranks ten candidates from the qualified pool, then the jury meets to agree on a single winner from the ten finalists. The recipient receives $7,500 USD, a Leica camera and lens, and a gallery showing in Paris. Using a Leica camera is not required and LSI membership is not required. Entries are capped at 200 applications; the call closes on 4 September or when the cap is reached, whichever comes first.
