In The Practice of Seeing — National Juried Photography Exhibition

National juried photography exhibition at Jacksonville State University's Hammond Gallery in Alabama, open to photographers working in all photographic processes — digital, film, alternative processes, mixed media incorporating photography, and photographic installations. The brief frames photography as an active process of perception rather than mere representation. Selected works are shown in the Manners Gallery, August 27–September 24, 2026. Juried by Jim Reiman, Assistant Professor of Photography and Graphic Design at Valdosta State University. Cash awards: $500 first, $300 second, $100 third.
