FLARE Journal Vol. 2 — Connection X Isolation

Call for the second print edition of FLARE, a nonprofit journal dedicated to photography of the climate crisis. The Autumn 2026 edition asks for work on the theme Connection X Isolation — how we connect with each other and the non-human world in times of ecological crisis, and how the crisis ruptures connection and creates isolation. Submit individual images or a series of up to 10 (TIFF, minimum 4000 px on the shortest side). A $5–10 donation per submission supports printing and distribution but is optional — all submissions are considered regardless. Contributors retain full copyright.
