FILE NOT FOUND — Archive Residencies 2026

International open call selecting ten artists for residencies at cultural archives worldwide, run by Goethe-Institut in collaboration with Gerador. Each residency lasts 2 weeks to 2 months between August 2026 and May 2027, on-site at one of ten participating archives: Acervo Bajubá (São Paulo), The ArQuives (Toronto), China Modern Art Archive (Beijing), documenta archiv (Kassel), Arsenal Filminstitut (Berlin), Kurdistan Center for Arts & Culture (Erbil), Imagine IC & The Need for Legacy (Amsterdam), VEHA Archive (Podlasie), Museu Nacional de Arte Contemporânea (Lisbon), and South African History Archive (Johannesburg). Each selected artist receives €2,000 artist fee, €2,000 production budget, and up to €2,000 for travel and accommodation. Final works exhibited at BLMK (Brandenburgisches Landesmuseum für moderne Kunst) in Cottbus, Germany, in Fall 2027. Open to artists worldwide, all disciplines including photography.
