Field Notes — Aurea Photogallery

Aurea Photogallery is an online photography gallery that runs themed open calls on a recurring schedule. Field Notes is the gallery's call for photographs as visual observations — work made in the act of moving through the world rather than constructed in studio.

The brief is open across genres: landscapes, street photography, portraits, and everyday details all eligible. The unifying register is observational and on-the-go.

Selected work is shown in a one-month online exhibition with a catalogue, then retained in the gallery's permanent archive.

The fee structure is staged: free to submit, with a €30 fee charged only if accepted. Submission is through the gallery's website with up to 3 images. Eligibility is open globally. The 2026 deadline was March 31.
